We are announcing an updated content backup system that makes hourly on-site back ups to your content. This is just one more safety step that we have taken to ensure that no data is ever lost, and that we are able to minimize any potential future downtime. This back up system is in addition to our weekly off-site back ups that we have been doing since the very beginning.

We currently include the following services to ensure data is maintained:

  • Overnight back-ups of the database both on and off site
  • Hourly customer content backups on-site (different server)
  • Weekly off site backup of all customer content

Roster you can custom sort, and export from

The main portion of this update involves a preliminary update to the main dashboard page, and an update to the member lists within the site.

Major Feature:

  • Member rosters have been updated to a new format built to increase usability
    • On list filtering by many different and combination options.
    • Export spread sheets based on the current list filtering.
    • Batch actions for selected or all members on the group roster.
  • Email Subscription management page got a make over
    • You can now also subscribe to your personal calendar feeds from this page
      • A feed holds all public church events
      • One holds all your events (public and private) for the church and groups you are in
      • There are also feeds for each individual group

Beta Release of v1.6.2.2

Lots of new features in this release. The member roster and group member rosters got a major face lift, as did the subscription management page (including access to a number of personal ical feeds).

We are getting really excited as we inch closer and closer to the version 1.7 update!

In this version the most obvious of the updates are cosmetic and usability improvements. As you navigate around the site you will notice improvements to the log in screen as well as the events module.

Major Changes

  • Updated log in page design and usability
  • Updated the event attendance tracking page for improved usability

Minor Changes

  • Some clients experienced a bug not allowing them to insert images into the text editor
  • Some clients experienced a bug not allowing user accounts to be approved

There are both some minor and major changes from version 1.6.1.1 to version 1.6.2

The best way to think about this update is major under the hood work. There isn’t a lot of noticeable interface changes, or new/improved features. What there is, however, are a whole slew of changes designed to streamline and integrate the system further together. This will mean that your overall experience with the leading Integrated Church Solution will be even better.

There are many more under the hood changes that will make your website and the software run more smoothly. You’ll notice the biggest update to the multi-media web module that displays the podcast. There have been some major usability updates allowing navigation of the podcast list, selecting a skin from a list of 10+.

  • Can now upload new thumbnails to audio and video media items

Getting Closer to v1.6.2

fall country roadThis release is coming very quickly after v1.6.1 (less than 3 weeks). There are only a few minor updates for this release in addition to a major restructuring effort to streamline software updates and patch releases.

Our clients will not really notice any difference in the working or functionality of their site as we fully implement v1.6.2 but will notice a system that has an increased updatability for our programing staff.

Keeping timeThere are several minor improvements in version 1.6.1 from 1.6.

The Changes

  • Member Search revamped for improved speed, and added Avatars to the results
  • Member Roster was revamped for improved speed
  • Instant Address Exporting for members (via Vcard format)
  • Email system updated for faster sending, and wider emails (from 550px to 700px)
  • Several database queries were re-written for speed improvements

Change Log:

  • Corrected a glitch that was causing some website pages to not render correctly
  • Corrected a glitch that caused all the giving data saved to not appear in the
  • Improved the Member Search speed and the way indexing takes place
  • Widened the Email system from 550 pixels to 700 pixels wide
  • Consolidation of Data tables removed 12 tables, resulting in increased speed and performance
  • Reworking of Giving Overview page to include all data entered (bug fix)

Vintage postcard.For the first time since we have implemented the Google email service, Gmail, there was downtime once earlier this month along with a minor service disruption this week. The issues have been addressed and corrected by Google. There were two periods were service was interrupted.

September 1st, 2009 (status)

  • They experienced service disruption from roughly 2:50pm until 4:37pm.
  • Users accessing their email via POP/IMAP through a client like Outlook or Mail were unaffected by this outage.

September 24th-25th, 2009 (status)

  • Some customers were experiencing difficultly accessing their contact lists within the web-based Gmail client.
  • This has only affected web based Gmail users. Stand alone clients like Outlook or Mail were unaffected.

We apologize for any inconvenience that these incidents may have cause you. Google provides unparalleled service for our clients, as well as for us at nineteen05. In the future these alerts will be much more prompt, but since the status site didn’t exist on September 1st we are doing our best to inform you today.
